Introducing Live Jazz at Levant Oslo
Jazz Music Norway is proud to announce a new artistic partnership with Levant Oslo, bringing live jazz to the heart of Oslo every Friday and Saturday.
Located in the heart of Oslo, Levant is creating a destination where gastronomy, hospitality, nightlife and live music come together. Through its partnership with Jazz Music Norway, the venue will now offer a distinctive jazz experience throughout the weekend, one designed not simply around live music, but around the experience of an entire evening.
Live at Levant will unfold as a continuous musical journey. The evening begins with elegant lounge jazz accompanying dinner and conversation, gradually developing into the intimate energy of a big city jazz club atmosphere. At the centre of the musical program is a resident ensemble, lead by pianist Nikolai Hansli, joined by a rotating selection of exceptional guest artists.

“We wanted to create something that feels less like simply going to a concert, and more like discovering a place you want to return to,” says Felix Peikli, founder of Jazz Music Norway.
“Levant gives us the opportunity to integrate jazz into the entire evening, from the first drink and dinner to the late-night atmosphere. That opens up a completely different way of experiencing live jazz.”

The partnership marks an important step in Jazz Music Norway’s ambition to develop new platforms for jazz in Oslo. Rather than limiting jazz to traditional concert settings, the collaboration explores how live music can become an integral part of a modern hospitality experience.
Live at Levant takes place every Friday and Saturday.
